The Great Ocean Road runs along the coast from Torquay to Apollo Bay. It then runs inland until Princetown where it runs along the coast again until Peterborough. Along this stretch you will find the 12 Apostles, a well known set of sandstone spires standing out of the ocean. They are magnificent. All the scenery along the coast is breath taking. Some of the best photo opportunities are at beaches and turnouts for slow moving vehicles rather than the designated overlooks.
